Elementary students completed another successful Jump Rope for Heart campaign during February by raising $18,734.72! This was Thrall Elementary's 20th year of participating in Jump Rope for Heart, and this was their best year ever in fund raising.

This year's campaign surpassed its goal of raising $13,000, and we greatly appreciate all of the support our staff, parents and community have provided for this project.

The American Heart Association's Kid Heart Challenge provides our students opportunities to learn about heart health and to raise funds to protect all hearts – especially other kids’! Through fun activities, such as jumping ropes, students discover ways to take care of their hearts and brains while practicing kindness, gratitude and learning ways to de-stress. Plus, students have the chance to earn physical education equipment for our school!

Congratulations to all of our Elementary students, Jason Ball and Kasie Gregory, ES physical education instructors!
