Thrall High School is partnering with SAFE 2 SAVE for a safe, non-distracted driving competition Nov. 7-Dec. 2 for our student, staff, family and TISD community drivers.
SAFE 2 SAVE partners with schools by hosting competitions to spread awareness about the dangers of distracted driving in the hope to drive change in the community to:

Distracted driving causes over 600,000 accidents annually and 7 fatalities per day. Over 21% of teens involved in fatal accidents were distracted by their phones You can be the change. Join the thousands of individuals participating in this safe driving initiative.
All participants earn points for driving hands-free and can redeem those points at local restaurants, popular chains, and online stores. Thrall High School student drivers will also compete to win cash prizes!
Everytime you drive undistracted and have your SAFE 2 SAVE app open you earn Safe Driving Points. Two points are earned for every minute of safe driving starting at 10 mph. Redeem your points towards a reward at a local business.
