A short and long-range planning committee comprised of community members, parents, staff, and students, along with a 3rd party consultant, worked for over nine months studying TISD building capacity, existing conditions, and the district's projected growth. After gathering information and exploring options, the committee unanimously recommended the board call a bond election. The bond election will have two propositions, including a new PK-5 elementary school and additions to the middle school, high school, and athletic programs.
