construction

The new construction for Bond 2022 Projects has begun, and you may have noticed the dust stirring on Tiger Drive!  There will be some cross traffic from construction vehicles and machinery during the day, but will attempt to avoid the drop-off and pick-up times due to the demand for parent/student lines needed.  There is a temporary fence placed at the perimeter to keep all persons and vehicles out of construction zones, and we request you use caution at all times. It will be open for construction vehicles during the day and will be open to public after 6:00 pm for evening activities. The goal is to keep the community safe! Thrall ISD BOnd 2022 Projects are underway with the Baseball and Softball Field renovations along with some other related facility improvement projects.

Over the next month, the project will extend to the south field past the High School as we begin the 2nd phase of the Tennis Complex.  There will be an additional 6-courts added to the existing 2-courts completed during the High School project in 2017.  This will be off site from students and other campuses, so the traffic flow should not be interrupted (except on CR 424 and possibly a portion of Bounds Street).  More details and updates will be shared as project planning nears completion and construction work begins.  These projects mentioned will have an anticipated completion in February 2023.

Updates which may impede traffic patterns will be shared through district communication tools and updates from campus principals in newsletters.  Mr. Russel Richter, District Safety Coordinator, will be working directly with Mr. Tommy Hooker, Superintendent, and the Bond Construction Project Team to make sure this is successful.  If you have any questions, feel free to contact Mr. Russel Richter or call 898-0062.
