The Class of 2026 began the next steps in their journey beyond Thrall High School after their successful graduation ceremony on Friday, May 15 at Tiger Stadium.
Special recognitions included Valedictorian, Brynn Leschber, and Salutatorian, Samuel Davis!
Valedictorian, Miss Brynn Leschber, is the daughter of Matthew and Jenny Leschber. She will attend A&M University, where she plans to major in Kinesiology. She graduated with a GPA of 106.1666
Salutatorian, Mr. Samuel Davis, is the son of Marla Davis. He will attend the University of Texas at Austin where he plans to major in Radio, Television and Film. He graduated with a GPA of 105.3142.
The Class of 2026 presented a donation to the Avery Koonce Memorial Scholarship which was received by the Koonce family during the graduation ceremony.
Miss Addison Crane, Class President, introduced the graduation ceremony's speaker, Mr. Clint Nygard, THS Agricultural Sciences instructor. He addressed the seniors and the audience providing humorous thoughts and words of wisdom.
At the end of the ceremony,, after the presentation of diplomas and acceptance of the graduates, a spectacular fireworks show was enjoyed by all!
