Thrall ISD recognizes Ms. Chelsey Martin, our District Speech Language Pathologist, on May 18 as part of American Speech-Language-Hearing Association's (ASHA's) National Speech-Language-Hearing Month in May. This provides an opportunity to raise awareness about communication disorders and the role of ASHA members in providing life-altering treatment.
This year’s observance is particularly special as 2025 marks ASHA’s Centennial, a rare and significant opportunity to showcase the vast impact of the professions on society—and how the work of audiologists and speech-language pathologists has evolved over a century.
