Thrall Elementary students are learning about Bus Safety. Learned items include:
1. The students learned how to ride safely and how to stay safe while riding the bus.
2 The students learned to
safely wait ten feet off the road while standing back until the bus stops completely.
3. How to use the handrail at all times.
4. Importance of staying in your seat.
5. Always buckle and keep your seatbelt on at all times.
Lastly, the students were reminded to watch for the stop arm and flashing lights and to make eye contact with the driver when crossing in front of the bus. It’s simple stuff, but it really helps keep kids safe every day.
