Thrall ISD recognizes the significant impact of the recent ice storm. The natural disaster went well beyond the Thrall ISD boundaries and affected many others in our Region. Thrall ISD will continue with our calendar for next week as originally scheduled.
Thursday, Feb. 16 will remain a student holiday and a work day for teachers, where they plan to meet individually with parents, as scheduled, and attend scheduled professional development.
Friday, Feb. 17 and Monday, Feb. 20 will remain holidays for students and staff.
All students and staff will return to campus on Tuesday, Feb. 21 for a regular school day.
Future school calendar adjustments will be communicated after the school board and leadership team meet in the coming weeks.

Tonight we recognized the 1992-1993 Tigerette Basketball Team who represented Thrall in the State Tournament in Austin 30 years ago. Two senior starters on that state team have freshmen daughters who are playing Milano tonight.


After a full day of policy debate, both of our CX Debate teams have qualified for the state championship meet! They will continue to hone their skills and build their knowledge of this year's resolution regarding national security for artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and cybersecurity. Congratulations Nina, Addison, Payton, and Jacob!

This is an exciting time for our tennis team! They have the opportunity to play in the State Team Tennis Tournament for 2A and under teams in mid March.

Boys Golf competed in their first tournament of the season today! The Tigers took 2nd place in the Taylor Invitational. Great accomplishment facing multiple 4, 5, and 6A schools!
