His favorite food is pizza and his favorite musician is Drake. We are so proud of Chance for recently being awarded the Ford Tough Player of the Week! October is Energy Awareness month. Today Schneider Electric provided an opportunity for our 6th graders to build miniature solar cars. It was a great opportunity to work in teams and see how their cars performed when put to the test. Thank you Peyton & Rebekah for helping provide this opportunity!

Mrs. Cook's Lifetime Nutrition and Wellness and Child Development classes went to the Newman Castle and Newman Bakery in Bellville to compare primitive cooking to modern day cooking and commercial baking. They went on a tour of the castle which previously operated without electricity. Climbing up to the bell tower was a challenge but being able to ring the bells at the top was worth the climb. They got their exercise that day for sure! After exploring all the rooms and having lunch, they went to the Newman Bakery in Bellville. There they saw how a commercial kitchen operated and how they are able to make so many cookies and pastries each day. Having a lesson outside of the classroom was definitely a treat. A special thank you to TCEF for providing for the castle trip and to Boxed Water for keeping us hydrated along the way.
