Practically Purple Spotlight this week is Ava Finch.
Ava is a junior and is involved in Practically Purple, Yearbook, and NHS. She is interested in pursuing a degree/career in graphic design. She placed 6th at rodeo Austin this past year with her piece named "Jolene's House".
Her favorite food is sushi and her favorite movie is Grand Butapest Hotel.
Ava would love to attend Southwestern University in Georgetown.
We love Ava's sweet personality and the fact the she is an excellent bow maker!!

Texas A&M was on campus today to visit with interested juniors and seniors. Students had the opportunity to learn about the history and traditions of Texas A&M as well as the admissions process and expectations👍
Mrs. Barton and Mrs. Laurence visited the Samsung Semiconductor plant in Austin today with a group of CCMR counselors and advisors from area schools. They went on a tour of the facility and then learned about internships and apprenticeships that Samsung offers to students!

Mrs. Cook attended the Texas 20 Food Show with her FCCLA kids. This was a great opportunity for our kids to learn more about the process of the school food service industry and sample different types of food products. Our very own Jeni Anders attended and is the President of the Central Texas Food Service Director Association.
