The Class of 2025 had the opportunity to learn some financial literacy today with a program sponsored by Capital Farm Credit and AgriLife.
Students chose a career path and then had to work their way around to different tables and purchase things such as insurance, cars, and homes.
In the end it was eye opening for them to see just how much "real life" costs!
Tyler and Mikayla were the two students that had the most money left over after paying bills and making purchases.
Thanks to all of the representatives from Capital Farm Credit and AgriLife!

TMS 8th Graders attended the Cruising through Careers Event in Round Rock today. Our students got to visit multiple booths representing all of the career options in our area. Mrs. Adams wants to send a special shout out to this 8th grade group that showed up and showed out for Thrall ISD! We had several students dress up, everyone was engaged and did a great job of interacting with the representatives. While plans and career paths may change, one thing is certain, there are a lot of bright futures ahead for this group!
