Thursdays at State Convention are full of fun and games😊 Thrall FFA members attended a session, did some team bonding with some games, visited the historic stockyards, and finished the night with the "party like it's 1776" fun and talent night! This has been a great week of learning, advocating, and having fun for our members! "Leave a Legacy"

"State Lone Star Degrees" We are super proud of our 7 students that received their state Lone Star degree! This is the highest degree given at the state level. Students must have been an FFA member at least 2 years, have an SAE program, and invest time and money into their SAE. These students must demonstrate leadership skills and show involvement at and above the chapter level. Recipients include: Kallie Noren, Addie Ward, Riley Luton, Addison Wall, Jaycee Chandler, Aiden Wall, Isabella Slauson We are also proud of Mrs. Tindol for being honored with a State Honorary Lone Star degree🦉 "Doing to learn"

"Legacy" Honoring our roots and growing our future... Thrall FFA Advisors Mrs. Lopez, Mr. Nygard, and Mrs. Barton advising students this week at the 97th Texas FFA Convention!

"Living to Serve" Thrall FFA members donating denim to the state community service project!

Thrall FFA competed in the FFA quiz bowl today at the state convention. Students had to answer trivia questions about agriculture and the FFA. We are proud of these members for trying a new contest today!

Thrall FFA made it down to Cowtown tonight to support fellow member Baylee Killingsworth in the Texas FFA rodeo! Baylee competed against 75 barrel racers across the state over the past two days. After 3 runs and running her fastest time yet tonight, Baylee finished 5th in the average! Way to go Baylee for ending up 5th in the state!! We are proud of you!

Congrats to the team of Addison Wall, Aiden Wall, Jaycee Chandler, and Kayla Pouncey for competing in the first ever Teach Ag contest at the Texas FFA State convention! These members had to draw for a topic and create a lesson plan with objectives and content and then give reasons for their lesson. The lesson they presented on was "Shop safety and tool identification". Congrats to these Thrall FFA members and awesome advocates for agriculture for placing 6th in the state and congrats to Addison for placing 6th high individual in the state!! We are proud of y'all!

Thrall Middle School is on the move! The new Middle School renovations are in full swing as we gear up to welcome our 6th through 8th grade students. A few more weeks and Thrall Middle School will officially open.

Thrall ISD Board of Trustees celebrated the success of the Tiger Baseball Team's State run.

Thrall Cheer is showing up strong at A&M Cheer Camp this week. Bree Burlison received the pin it forward from UCA staff. Ashtyn Rucker made jump offs finals. Middle school pin it forward. Stella and Summer made Middle school jump off finalist. Varsity Blue Ribbon & Spirit stick winners!! Keep up the good work ladies!
