So proud of our kids today! They marched again in 1000-degree weather today at the Buccaneer festival and finished 1st in 2A, 4th overall and march in the finals tonight at 8:15. Let's go Tigers! 💜🎶💜
The HS and MS cross country teams competed in Shiner this morning for their final meet before District. It was a tough race full of hills and hard work. Even with those hills, our runners still set 8 new personal lifetime bests and 3 new season bests. Great day to be a tiger!
Tiger Band is headed to the Buccaneer Marching Festival in Brenham today! Great way to kick off marching contest season (aka Bandtober)!

"Jackets from Johnny" jacket winner Heidi Cox!
The purpose of the Jackets for Johnny program is to give the gift of the legendary blue jacket to those that may not be able to afford it. Live like Johnny board member Aaron Alejandro describes the jacket as "The jacket levels the playing field. When you zip it up no one knows your background, social status, or popularity- they see that you belong"
Only 8 Texas FFA members are chosen to receive this jacket every year based on an application they turned in.
We are very proud of Heidi for being chosen to receive a "Jacket from Johnny"!! Heidi is a sophomore FFA member and is also involved in band, powerlifting, track, and FCA.

Yesterday was Thrall MS "Color Wars" spirit day. All the grade levels showed up and showed out! The spirit showed through the evening as all of our football teams played excellent games!
